Thermal Surveys
What is a thermal survey?
A thermal survey is a non invasive method of visualising and quantifying temperature variations.
What can a thermal survey be used for?
Thermal imaging can be used for a variety of reasons, most people have probably seen TV footage of the Police using it to apprehend a criminal but it can be used in many other ways, including;
- Building defect surveys
- Under floor heating surveys
- Planned preventative maintenance on electrical equipment

Building Defect Surveys
Thermal imaging can be used to help locate defects in a building. These defects can be missing or damaged insulation, water ingress, delaminating render and draughts.
Under floor Heating Surveys
Using thermal cameras we are able to assess the condition of underfloor heating, check for leaks, ensure it is heating up correctly and can accurately mark the plan onto a scaled drawing without the need to uproot your flooring.
Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
We can help ensure electrical equipment is running safely preventing downtime for repairs.
Drone Surveys
Thermal cameras can be attached to drones and using our CAA certified and trained pilots we can quickly and safely survey large areas. We can survey buildings, roofs and areas that are hard to access and without the use of drones would be unsuitable to survey.
