What is Electronic leak detection?

 

Electronic leak detection (ELD) is a surveying method which provides you with a non-invasive way to locate leaks in the building envelope. Our surveyors combined with specialised equipment can locate penetrations pin hole in size.

 

Why should you use ELD?

 

Water ingress can be caused by a leak in a flat roof, using our specialised equipment paired with one of our surveyors we can find penetrations in a roofing material undetectable by eye. We can locate and mark the penetrations so they can be repaired before they cause significant damage to the insulation resulting in a full roof repair.

 

What do we recommend?

 

We recommend you have an ELD survey of your flat roof at least once a year, this will help increase the lifetime of the roof.
